PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marty McFly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koala Bare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for McFly, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bare feints and as McFly raises his hands in defense, Bare changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bare must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
McFly wants to control the position but Bare says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Bare is figuring out what he wants to do next.
McFly might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McFly is not content to let Bare control the position.
Bare thows a huge punch but McFly dodges it nicely.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

McFly lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by McFly.

Bare feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Marty McFly will probably get the nod.
