The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a left and a right that both miss

and Rodrigues counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silva can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Rodrigues won't allow Silva to get back to his feet.
Rodrigues wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Rodrigues trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Rodrigues drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Rodrigues seems to have locked his on tight now - Silva screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Rodrigues, as he picks up the win!
