Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Rocco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitrionne displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rocco.

Rocco pushes Mitrionne up against the cage in a clinch.
Rocco drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rocco jumps guard but Mitrionne stands there with Rocco around his waist. Rocco gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Rocco. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mitrionne gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rocco.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Rocco.
Mitrionne is trying to drag Rocco to the mat but Rocco just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Mitrionne lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Rocco wants to get back to his feet.
Rocco wants to sweep but Mitrionne has passed to side control!

Rocco tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mitrionne wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Mitrionne decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Rocco scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mitrionne in his tracks.
Mitrionne dives in and grabs Rocco's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rocco pushes down on Mitrionne's head and hops out.
Rocco fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rocco is defended easily by Mitrionne.
Mitrionne fails to land the takedown.
Mitrionne looks gassed!
Rocco stuffs the takedown attempt from Mitrionne. Mitrionne gets slowly back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rocco shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mitrionne as he jumps to the side.
Mitrionne takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Rocco tries to clinch but Mitrionne moves out of range.
Rocco scores with the left hand. Mitrionne knows he should have avoided that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mitrionne throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rocco connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mitrionne gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rocco.

Mitrionne throws a combination that misses
and Rocco rattles Mitrionne with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Mitrionne tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Rocco dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Mitrionne stiff and motionless on the mat!
