The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jambon throws a hook but de Brebeuf blocks it.
Jambon throws a lazy uppercut
and de Brebeuf counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
de Brebeuf rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jambon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jambon, as that shot connected.

It looks like Jean de Brebeuf has been cut.
de Brebeuf misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jambon.
Jambon throws a lazy right hand but de Brebeuf sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jambon looks to throw the jab but de Brebeuf is out of range.
Jambon throws a hook but de Brebeuf blocks it.
Jambon thuds a left hand into de Brebeuf's body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jambon lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Jambon stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from de Brebeuf.
Jambon misses with a lunging right hand
and de Brebeuf counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jambon's knee momentarily.
Jambon throws a shot to the body.
The fighters circling - Jambon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jambon swings for the body but de Brebeuf moves out of range.

and de Brebeuf counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jambon!
de Brebeuf wants to control the pace but Jambon is squirming around nicely.

Jambon somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!

Jambon lands a left and a right that send de Brebeuf crashing to the mat, dazed. Jambon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Jambon connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

That has opened up Jean de Brebeuf's cut even more.

Jambon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jambon thows a body shot but no joy.
Nice uppercut lands for Jambon. That snapped de Brebeuf's head back.
Jambon throws a right hand that de Brebeuf ducks under and follows up with a left that de Brebeuf also avoids with ease.
Jambon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jambon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but de Brebeuf moves away.
Han Jambon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jambon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. de Brebeuf looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

de Brebeuf fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jambon manages to avoid it.
de Brebeuf moves out of range of the strikes.
de Brebeuf ducks under a wild hook from Jambon.
de Brebeuf misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jambon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between de Brebeuf's hands.
A jab from Jambon does it's job there.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Jambon has cracked de Brebeuf with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Jambon lands another huge swinging hook and de Brebeuf tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save de Brebeuf, before Jambon can land any more shots!
