Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Terry Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: White Wizzard - Gates Of Gehenna. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez shoots in and drives through. Jenkins sprawls well.
Ramirez shoots for a double leg takedown but Jenkins sprawls well. He's pushed Ramirez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jenkins lands with an overhand left.
Jenkins misses with a hook. Ramirez ducked under it nicely.
Jenkins slaps away a takedown attempt from Ramirez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Terry Jenkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gustavo Ramirez.
Horrible takedown by Ramirez or perhaps it was just good defense by Jenkins which made him look bad.
Jenkins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ramirez moves away.

Jenkins slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Ramirez fails to land the takedown.
Jenkins throws a body punch but Ramirez moves out of range.
Ramirez dives in and scores a takedown into Jenkins's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jenkins is pulling down on Ramirez's head. It's preventing any offense from Ramirez, at least for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jenkins controls Ramirez momentarily but Ramirez frees himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Terry Jenkins.

Ramirez has gone for a leg lock! Jenkins slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ramirez's guard.

Ramirez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jenkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ramirez is tightening it up a little... Jenkins has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jenkins reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jenkins taps out! Nice BJJ there by Ramirez!
