And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Zebra misses.
Sabu looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Zebra shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Zebra was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Alexander Zebra wasn't active enough on the ground.

Zebra looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Sabu is staying active underneath Zebra, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Zebra works his foot free and advances to mount.
Zebra is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sabu can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A nice elbow there by Zebra.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alexander Zebra dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Zebra clinches.
Zebra tries to circle away but Sabu has him pinned against the cage.
Zebra tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Sabu tries for a takedown. No joy.
A frustrated look appears on Zebra's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Zebra turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Zebra manages to end up in side control.

Zebra wants to stand but Sabu has his arm trapped.
Zebra advances nicely into full mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Zebra lands a big shot there that rocks Sabu but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

It looks like Glen Sabu has been cut.
Zebra wants to control the pace but Sabu is squirming around nicely.
