Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kamikaze Sazuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iwasaki Okamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kamikaze Sazuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Iwasaki Okamoto!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okamoto rushes Sazuki and presses him up against the cage.
Okamoto jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sazuki walks away with a smile on his face. Okamoto gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sazuki slaps away a takedown attempt from Okamoto, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sazuki lands a two punch combo.
Sazuki thows a leg kick but Okamoto checks it
and Okamoto counters with a right hand to the body.
Okamoto throws a looping overhand right but Sazuki ducks down to avoid it.
Sazuki stalks Okamoto and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Okamoto's face. Okamoto staggers backwards, shaken.
Sazuki jabs Okamoto to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Okamoto has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sazuki throws a head kick that misses.
Okamoto pushes Sazuki up against the cage in a clinch.
Okamoto is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sazuki gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Kamikaze Sazuki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iwasaki Okamoto.
Okamoto tries to break the clinch but Sazuki is controlling the position.
Okamoto is trying to push Sazuki away but Sazuki has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Okamoto successfully pulls guard.
Sazuki stands and steps away. Okamoto gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Okamoto tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Okamoto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sazuki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Okamoto somewhat.
Sazuki stuffs the takedown attempt from Okamoto. Okamoto gets slowly back to his feet.
Sazuki connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Okamoto shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sazuki defends it nicely.
Sazuki lands with a shot to the body.
Okamoto looks gassed!
A left and a right from Sazuki both land. Nice combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
No joy there for Sazuki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sazuki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Sazuki!
Okamoto is rocked!
It looks like Iwasaki Okamoto has been cut.
Sazuki tries to bum rush Okamoto with a series of wild strikes but Okamoto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sazuki lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Okamoto is still on wobbly legs! Can Sazuki finish him?
A head kick misses from Sazuki.
Some wild striking there from Sazuki.
Sazuki looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Okamoto shoots in looking for a takedown. Sazuki tries to sprawl out of it but Okamoto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sazuki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Okamoto seems to have recovered his senses.
Sazuki thuds his right hand into Okamoto's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Sazuki throws the kick towards the body but Okamoto avoids it.
Sazuki misses with a low kick as Okamoto jumps back.
Sazuki throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sazuki dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Okamoto. That did some damage!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sazuki's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Sazuki duly obliges.
A slapping body kick lands there for Okamoto.
Okamoto forces Sazuki back against the cage and clinches.
Okamoto fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Okamoto has Sazuki pressed against the cage, preventing Sazuki from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Sazuki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Okamoto fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kamikaze Sazuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Okamoto lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Sazuki keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sazuki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd cheers as Sazuki lands an impressive looking overhand right. Okamoto doesn't seem phased though.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sazuki moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Sazuki is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Okamoto like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Okamoto from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kamikaze Sazuki!
