The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akira tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cerezo is able to avoid easily.
Cerezo lands with a nice combination. Akira backs away looking to recover.
Cerezo lands with a nice body punch.
Cerezo lands a jab to the head.
Akira swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cerezo counters with a nice body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oooooh!!! Cerezo has knocked Akira down with a huge combo! Cerezo steps away and waves a wobbly Akira back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Akira is rocked!
Akira backs away from a small jab...but Cerezo lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Akira crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Cerezo with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Tohino Cerezo!
As Tohino Cerezo got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: That was a god dam mis match - i want Van Kirkland next, gimmi the fight Kimmi!'.
