The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawika shoots in looking for a takedown but Creyes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kawika's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Creyes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kawika sprawls well. Kawika wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Creyes gets slowly back to his feet.

and Kawika counters with a single leg into guard. Creyes didn't expect that.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Kawika drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Kawika seems to have locked his on tight now - Creyes screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Kawika, as he picks up the win!
