Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junk Memorex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bradock Lao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lao doesn't manage to clinch there - Memorex circles away.
Lao closes the distance and clinches up with Memorex, looking for a takedown. Lao pushes Memorex against the cage but Memorex circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Memorex misses with a low kick.
Memorex throws a combination. Lao tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Lao lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lao pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lao shoots in for a double leg but Memorex sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lao tries for a takedown but Memorex sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Memorex checks a leg kick.
Memorex throws a right and a left that Lao avoids nicely.
Lao tries to clinch up but Memorex circles away and keeps his distance.

Lao tries for a takedown but Memorex sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Lao throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Memorex's waist but Memorex gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lao off to one side.
Memorex lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Memorex.
Memorex throws a nice looking combination but Lao bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lao dives in and grabs Memorex's left leg, looking for a takedown. Memorex pushes down on Lao's head and hops out.

Lao avoids the body shot from Memorex.
Memorex swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lao counters with a nice uppercut.
Lao is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lao shoots for a double leg takedown but Memorex sprawls well. He's pushed Lao's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lao lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Memorex has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Memorex and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Memorex throws a jab when Lao was well out of range.
Lao tries to score a power double leg takedown but Memorex sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lao somewhat.

Memorex lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Memorex.

Lao throws a lazy head kick
and Memorex counters with a two punch combo.
Lao shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Memorex as he jumps to the side.

Lao fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Bradock Lao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Memorex cracks Lao with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Lao throws a shot from downtown. Memorex moves away and avoids it.

Memorex thows a body kick. Lao tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Lao takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Memorex connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lao momentarily.

Memorex lands a big head kick that sends Lao tumbling to the mat! Memorex takes a step backwards and waves Lao back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Lao is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lao leaves his chin hanging out and Memorex seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Lao crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
