Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Linger In Shadows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Wolfen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). In Shadows comes to the cage accompanied by IM / Cities Of The Future. The key to victory for Linger In Shadows has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by In Shadows. Beautiful body shot.
In Shadows moves into range and connects with a jab.
Nice body punch from In Shadows.
In Shadows lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Wolfen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
In Shadows misses with a straight left.
Wolfen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
In Shadows just misses with a punch to the body.

In Shadows keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Linger In Shadows has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Wolfen.
In Shadows rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wolfen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Wolfen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. In Shadows tries to avoid it but Wolfen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag In Shadows to the ground. In Shadows escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

In Shadows lands a nice hook to Wolfen's body. Wolfen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Wolfen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. In Shadows tries to avoid it but Wolfen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag In Shadows to the ground. In Shadows escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

In Shadows scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Wolfen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
In Shadows will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Linger In Shadows is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wolfen is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. In Shadows can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
It looks like Linger In Shadows has been cut.
Wolfen misses with a head shot.
In Shadows tries to reverse the position but Wolfen maintains control.
Wolfen lands with some vicious ground and pound - can In Shadows hang on?
In Shadows holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Wolfen tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

In Shadows is trying desperately to improve position.

Wolfen throws a wild left hand from mount and In Shadows manages to wriggle his way back to half guard.
Wolfen is looking to take a break and control but In Shadows is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wolfen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control In Shadows kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
In Shadows won't allow Wolfen to pass to mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Wolfen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
In Shadows keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Frank Wolfen will probably get the nod.

Wolfen shoots in looking for a takedown but In Shadows manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wolfen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Wolfen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Wolfen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A lazy left from In Shadows finds it's target.
Wolfen tries to score with a low kick but In Shadows moves his leg out of the way.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wolfen is defended easily by In Shadows.
Wolfen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with In Shadows but In Shadows pushes him off and we're back to square one.

In Shadows is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Wolfen shoots in but In Shadows avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wolfen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Frank Wolfen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

In Shadows connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wolfen's hands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Horrible takedown by Wolfen or perhaps it was just good defense by In Shadows which made him look bad.

Wolfen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wolfen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but In Shadows swivels and escapes.
Wolfen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and In Shadows connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wolfen scrambles back to his feet.

Wolfen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Wolfen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

In Shadows connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wolfen momentarily.

In Shadows cracks Wolfen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Wolfen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can In Shadows finish him?
Wolfen is still on wobbly legs! Can In Shadows finish him?
Wolfen looks up at the clock. Bad move! In Shadows lands a right hand from hell, dropping Wolfen. In Shadows pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Linger In Shadows!
