Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with James, pushing him back against the cage.
James has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gracie is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Gracie is looking to break free of the clinch but James has double underhooks.
James prevents Gracie from breaking the clinch.
Gracie effectively controlling the action here.

Gracie tries to pull guard but James holds him up against the cage and eventually Gracie drops back down to his feet.
Gracie looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

James tries to score a body lock takedown but Gracie shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
James can't break the clinch.
James tries to work over Gracie's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Gracie is trying to force a seperation but James has the dominant position.

James fails to pull guard.

Gracie is trying to break the clinch but James is controlling him.
James creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
