PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Enzo Trizotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Pilgrim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trizotti comes to the cage accompanied by immediate music-believe. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pilgrim slips under a jab.

Pilgrim closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Trizotti did well to prevent Pilgrim getting side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Pilgrim seems to be looking for submissions.

Pilgrim is stalling here. Trizotti is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Pilgrim seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Trizotti has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Pilgrim wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Pilgrim tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Trizotti wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Trizotti goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pilgrim has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Trizotti but great work by Pilgrim.
Trizotti manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Pilgrim is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Trizotti is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pilgrim doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Trizotti.

Pilgrim is looking to get back to is feet but Trizotti passes into side control.

Trizotti is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pilgrim is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Trizotti is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pilgrim looks calm but he's in trouble here. Trizotti gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pilgrim is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Trizotti lets go of the hold and Pilgrim can pop his arm back in it's socket.
