The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Balboa napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Freeman scores with a couple of short elbows.
Balboa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Balboa tries to get out of the position.

Balboa has Freeman pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Freeman is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Balboa - that's hurt Freeman badly! Oh, another knee lands and Freeman is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Freeman doesn't seem to be complaining.
