Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Sazh Blaskey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miyamoto Usagi!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Usagi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blaskey tries to avoid it but Usagi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blaskey to the ground. Blaskey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Blaskey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Usagi throws out the jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Usagi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Usagi.
Blaskey with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Usagi to score with a decent uppercut.

Usagi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blaskey moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Usagi fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Blaskey to the ground. Usagi is now in Blaskey's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Usagi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Usagi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well Blaskey has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
