Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Byeongsuk Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim comes into the arena with Choi Hong Man-Beauty and the Beast blaring out of the sound system. Brown is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Candy Paint. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Charlie Brown enters the cage!

With a record of 19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Charlie Brown!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Brown is able to avoid easily.
Brown throws a body kick the misses
and Kim counters with a low kick, right behind Brown 's knee.
Kim throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kim, right into the meat.
Brown just misses with a punch to the body.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kim lands with an uppercut that bounces Brown off the cage and back into range.

and Kim counters with a leg kick.
Brown throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kim stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Charlie Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown takes one to the side of the head.
Kim lands a nice looking body shot.
Kim attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Brown ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kim moves away.
Brown with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kim to score with a decent uppercut.

Brown takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kim, as that shot connected.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kim closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Brown wants to get back to his feet.
Brown looks gassed!
Kim in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown pushes Kim away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kim gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kim lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Brown lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kim backwards.
Brown looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
