Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zasz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dy sprawls well initially but Zasz persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dy is trying to control but can't.
Dy works his way to full guard. Good work.
Dy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Zasz manages to get himself to full guard.
Dy wants to control from the top but Zasz keeps moving.
Zasz is looking to stand up but Dy isn't so interested in that idea.
Zasz keeping moving, preventing Dy from controlling successfully.
Dy wants to stand but Zasz is controlling his posture from full guard.

Dy content to stall in guard here.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Lucas Dy just wasn't active enough.
Zasz throws a nice looking combination but Dy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Dy gets tackled into the cage by Zasz. Zasz maintains the clinch.

Zasz has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Dy is trying to keep an underhook but Zasz manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Zasz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dy regains full guard. Nicely done.
Dy throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zasz wants to get up but he can't break Dy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Dy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zasz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Zasz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dy throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Zasz is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dy is on top in guard.
Zasz keeping moving, preventing Dy from controlling successfully.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zasz can do anything to dispel that myth.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Zasz is keeping the position for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kristopher Zasz.

Zasz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dy to the mat! Dy manages to get full guard.
Dy is trying to keep Zasz in close.
Zasz tries to free his leg and advance position but Dy is retaining full guard.

Dy looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Zasz is defending well. Dy quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Zasz has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Dy celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
