PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhen Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes into the arena with ヨシピィ・ダ・ガマ/&# blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Chan Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zhen Long!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Lee.

Long closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Lee breaks the clinch.

Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Lee. Long shrugs it off though.
Lee pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Long looks to land a combination but Lee avoids it well.
Long throws a low kick, looking for Lee's leg but Lee calmly moves out of range.

Lee forces Long back against the cage and clinches.
Lee lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Zhen Long has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lee cracks Long with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lee has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Long to stand back up!

Lee tries to keep at a distance but Long has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lee unloads a knee to the mid-section. Long lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Long looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Lee has picked Long up - he's going for a ride! Lee dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lee content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Lee gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Lee throws a leg kick which misses Long's front leg but catches the back leg as Long tries to avoid it.
Long steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lee. That one must have hurt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Long tries to keep at a distance but Lee has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lee utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

Lee manages to break the clinch.

Lee has closed the distance and engaged Long in a clinch.

Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A chopping leg kick lands by Lee.
Lee catches Long with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Lee moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Lee with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Long takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Lee has Long up against the cage in a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Lee breaks the clinch.
Chan Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee feints a jab and as Long dips his head, Lee unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Long right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Long falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Lee smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
