Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Haile Selassie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Ferra Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Selassie comes to the cage accompanied by .... Gomez has chosen I Put The Finger On You as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Haile Selassie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Felipe Ferra Gomez!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gomez gets caught flat footed, as Selassie shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Haile Selassie.

Gomez feints and then cracks Selassie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Selassie down.
Selassie has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gomez finds it's way round the side to connect with Selassie's head.

Selassie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Selassie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gomez can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Gomez throws out a loose jab but Selassie uses good head movement to avoid it.

Selassie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gomez tries to avoid it but Selassie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gomez to the ground. Gomez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gomez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Selassie to score with a decent uppercut.
