Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Ubiistia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ubiistia kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is "No Leaf Clover" by Metallica. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ubiistia keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ubiistia pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ubiistia stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ubiistia wants it to stay on the feet.
A head kick misses from Ubiistia.

Ubiistia gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Evans trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Evans chips away with some ground and pound.
Evans won't allow Ubiistia to get back to his feet.
Evans wants to control from the top but Ubiistia keeps moving.
Evans wanted to stand there but Ubiistia had control of the position.
Ubiistia looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Evans trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Evans wants to get up but he can't break Ubiistia's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Evans drops his hands momentarily and Ubiistia takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Frankie Evans has been cut.
Evans throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ubiistia's waist but Ubiistia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Evans off to one side.
Magnus Ubiistia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frankie Evans.
No luck for Evans with that takedown attempt.
Evans wants to clinch.
Ubiistia uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Evans throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Evans looks gassed!
Evans tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ubiistia swivels and escapes.
Ubiistia displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Evans.
Ubiistia pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ubiistia throws a leg kick but Evans sees it coming and moves out of range.
Ubiistia paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A head kick misses from Ubiistia.
Ubiistia avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Ubiistia.
