Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boy Bastos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan DeAngelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Boy Bastos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Evan DeAngelo!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but DeAngelo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bastos looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
DeAngelo gets caught flat footed, as Bastos shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bastos seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Bastos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
DeAngelo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bastos is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. DeAngelo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bastos's back instead.
DeAngelo tries to keep control of the position but Bastos is staying busy.
Bastos is taking damage to the body and head.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
DeAngelo controls the action.
Will DeAngelo go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

DeAngelo missing with strikes.
DeAngelo is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bastos is defending well though. DeAngelo let's go of the attempt for now.
DeAngelo wants to control but Bastos is keeping busy.
Bastos wants to get back to his feet.
Bastos prevents DeAngelo from getting a body triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
DeAngelo is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Bastos just trying to survive but DeAngelo is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Bastos is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because DeAngelo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
DeAngelo looking for the RNC.
Bastos is really stuck here.
DeAngelo punishes Bastos with strikes from the back mount.
DeAngelo is striking from the back but Bastos escapes and manages to recover to half guard.
DeAngelo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

DeAngelo trying to control but Bastos is having none of it.
DeAngelo tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
DeAngelo lands a big elbow.
Bastos really is a fat lump.
DeAngelo tries to control but Bastos wriggling away.
Bastos taking shots to the head.
DeAngelo is landing with some decent strikes but Bastos is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Bastos tries to lock up and control but DeAngelo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
DeAngelo is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bastos is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Bastos flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. DeAngelo anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Bastos and secures both hooks! This could be bad! DeAngelo slips an arm under Bastos chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. DeAngelo has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. DeAngelo is squeezing on Bastos like an anaconda would it's prey. Bastos fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Evan DeAngelo!
