Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teppo Mansikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Mansikka has chosen Icepick - Born to Crush You as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Barnes throws a chopping leg kick but Mansikka manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Barnes buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

and Mansikka counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Mansikka tries to land a front kick but Barnes steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mansikka takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Mansikka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Barnes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Barnes counters with a head kick. That will keep Mansikka thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Barnes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Frankie Barnes will probably get the nod.

Barnes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
