Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida moves out of range of the leg kick from Alves.
Alves tries a low kick but Machida avoids it.
Machida takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Alves scores with a kick to the midsection.
Machida keeps the fight on the outside.
Alves throws a leg kick that misses.
Alves feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Machida's calf.
Machida should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
A combination from Alves does no damage.
Alves is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Alves wants to slow Machida down by chopping away at his legs.
Alves tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Alves circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Machida drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Alves follows Machida to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
