Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jyn Karinzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karinzo comes to the cage accompanied by BLUNT - Self Medicated. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jyn Karinzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, George Hardy!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy misses with a series of wild punches.
Hardy pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hardy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Karinzo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hardy.
Karinzo thows a body shot but no joy.
Hardy shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hardy!
It looks like Jyn Karinzo has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hardy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Karinzo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hardy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hardy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Karinzo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Karinzo is nestled in close to Hardy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Hardy has hold of Karinzo's hands but Karinzo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Hardy is working to avoid the ground and pound but Karinzo connects with a decent elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Karinzo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Karinzo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hardy tries to escape but Karinzo is in control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Karinzo has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Hardy!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Karinzo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Horrible takedown by Karinzo or perhaps it was just good defense by Hardy which made him look bad.
Karinzo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Karinzo lands in his opponent's guard.
Karinzo tries to free his leg and advance position but Hardy is retaining full guard.
Hardy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Hardy wants to stand but Karinzo is controlling the position.
Karinzo stands and throws Hardy's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Hardy wants to get back to his feet but Karinzo drags him back down.
Hardy is breathing heavily.
Karinzo is looking to take a break and control but Hardy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Karinzo is really struggling to control Hardy but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karinzo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hardy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Karinzo is working to tighten is grip on Hardy's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hardy has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Karinzo is really squeezing tight and eventually Hardy passes out! Karinzo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
