Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Duff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott McCreary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyson Duff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scott McCreary!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Duff is defended easily by McCreary.
Duff looks to land a combination but McCreary avoids it well.
McCreary closes this distance looking for a takedown but Duff circles away.
McCreary will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Duff throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McCreary looks for a takedown but Duff sprawls well.
Tyson Duff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott McCreary.
Duff misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McCreary throws a nice outside leg kick.
McCreary tries to clinch but Duff moves out of range.

Duff looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Duff throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McCreary sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McCreary tries to clinch there but Duff circles away.

McCreary moves into the clinch.

Duff is pressed up against the cage. McCreary has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Duff down to the mat. Duff avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Duff dives in and grabs McCreary's left leg, looking for a takedown. McCreary pushes down on Duff's head and hops out.
Duff throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McCreary.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Duff.

Duff misses with a jab, cross combination.
McCreary connects with a body shot that sends Duff's belly button to the back.
McCreary tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Duff counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Duff fails with a takedown attempt.
McCreary tries to clinch

and Duff counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Duff.
McCreary is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Duff to keep the fight standing.

McCreary misses with a knee to the head.

McCreary has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Duff uses from the top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

McCreary isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Duff stacks McCreary on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Duff!
McCreary tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Duff wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Duff decides to stand up, so the ref orders McCreary to his feet.
Duff will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McCreary tries to clinch but Duff is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Scott McCreary will probably get the nod.

McCreary avoids a punch combination nicely.
McCreary misses with a takedown

and Duff decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McCreary's guard.
McCreary really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Duff. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McCreary wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Duff is now in half guard.

Duff thows a huge punch but McCreary dodges it nicely.
McCreary avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Duff.

McCreary is trying to stand back up but Duff is controlling him
McCreary is looking to get back to full guard here but Duff has managed to pass to side control instead.

Duff decides to stand back up. Duff steps back and let's McCreary get back to his feet.

McCreary tries to clinch but Duff moves away
and Duff counters with a three punch combo that has McCreary backing up. McCreary nods at Duff to acknowledge the strikes.

and Duff counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Duff is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Duff can't get the takedown.
McCreary has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Duff avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
McCreary trying to control the position but instead, Duff has worked for underhooks and has pushed McCreary into the cage.
McCreary goes for a takedown in the clinch but Duff prevents it.

McCreary is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Duff gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
McCreary tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Duff smiles and moves away.

and Duff makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

McCreary shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Duff defends it nicely.
McCreary fails to land with a series of punches.
Tyson Duff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCreary is breathing heavily.
McCreary blocks a jab.
Duff throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McCreary's waist but McCreary gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Duff off to one side.
McCreary lands with a kick to the temple. Duff shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

McCreary moves out of range of the leg kick from Duff.
McCreary shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Duff rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McCreary moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McCreary scores with a jab to the head.
Duff throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and McCreary counters with a nice kick to the body.
Duff throws a right and a left that McCreary avoids nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McCreary moves to clinch but Duff breaks away

and Duff counters with a nice double leg into side control. McCreary won't be happy with that.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McCreary is looking for a sweep.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyson Duff dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

McCreary fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Duff sprawls well initially but McCreary persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

McCreary tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Duff manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Duff gets a trip takedown into half guard.
McCreary is staying active underneath Duff, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
McCreary tries to get to full guard but Duff has control of the leg.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Duff stands up and beckons McCreary to join him on the feet.

McCreary throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Duff clinches with his opponent.
Duff is pressed up against the cage. McCreary has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Duff down to the mat. Duff avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McCreary tries to clinch up but Duff circles away and keeps his distance.

Tyson Duff showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Duff has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
