The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smalling looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Soto Carrass throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smalling.
Soto Carrass looks to land a combination but Smalling avoids it well.
Smalling scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Smalling connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Soto Carrass lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smalling circles away quickly and effectively.
Soto Carrass throws the kick towards the body but Smalling avoids it.
Smalling goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Esteban Soto Carrass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smalling slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
