Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dong Ming Pak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pak doesn't succeed with the takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Hunt misses with a two punch combination.
Pak takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hunt lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Hunt throws a body kick that misses.
Pak gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hunt counters with a thumping low kick.
Pak takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pak chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hunt can pounce on him.
Hunt lands with a thumping leg kick.
Pak drives through with a takedown into Hunt's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hunt wants to stand and escape but Pak is having none of it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hunt trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Pak slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Hunt wants to stand and escape but Pak is having none of it.

Pak sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hunt's guard.
Pak wants to take a breather but Hunt is having none of it.
Hunt pushes Pak off looking to stand but Pak dives back in and keeps control.

Pak with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Hunt is trying to stand.
Pak wants to free his trapped foot but Hunt is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Hunt is staying active underneath Pak, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Hunt is looking to escape.
Pak wants to pass to mount but Hunt is defending the position.
Pak is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hunt!
Hunt is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Pak looking to secure an arm triangle but Hunt defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pak can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hunt is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pak is working for a guillotine from mount but Hunt frees his head quite easily.

Pak fails to advance to Hunt's back.
Hunt is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Hunt stops Pak from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pak shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hunt as he avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown by Pak or perhaps it was just good defense by Hunt which made him look bad.

and Hunt counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Mike Hunt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dong Ming Pak.
Pak shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hunt defends it nicely.

Pak gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hunt counters with a nice kick to the body.

Hunt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Hunt counters with a three punch combo that has Pak backing up. Pak nods at Hunt to acknowledge the strikes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pak has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hunt finds it's way round the side to connect with Pak's head.
