Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Meeoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meeoff comes to the cage accompanied by bodies. Matthews has chosen Disturbed-Conflict as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Matthews defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Meeoff.
Meeoff looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Meeoff throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Matthews takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Matthews on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Matthews fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Meeoff avoids it really well and circles away.
Kevin Matthews seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matthews throws a jab when Meeoff was well out of range.
Meeoff misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Meeoff. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Matthews looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Meeoff throws a right and a left that Matthews avoids nicely.
Matthews avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Matthews lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Meeoff circles away quickly and effectively.
Matthews sizes up Meeoff with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Meeoff slips under a jab from Matthews.
Matthews misses with an uppercut. Meeoff saw that one coming.
Meeoff displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Matthews.
Meeoff moves into range and clinches up with Matthews.
Meeoff tries a body shot but Matthews blocks it.
Meeoff fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Matthews is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Meeoff gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Matthews tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Meeoff on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Meeoff blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Meeoff decides to pull guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Meeoff working a defensive guard but Matthews passes into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Meeoff preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Meeoff works his way to full guard. Good work.
Matthews wants to control from the top but Meeoff keeps moving.
Meeoff looking for a triangle here. Matthews is fighting it but it looks tight! Meeoff pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Matthews is tapping out - this one is all over!
