Webster has chosen Run to the Hills by Iron Madien as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Travis Moris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Webster!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Webster looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Webster will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Webster tries a head kick but it misses.
Webster tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Moris swivels and escapes.
Webster leaves Moris with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Webster gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Webster takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Moris stops a takedown attempt from Webster.
Travis Moris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Webster.
Moris tries to score a body lock takedown but Webster shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Moris could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Webster preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Webster trying to keep a closed guard but Moris is proving a slippery customer.

Moris wants to control from the top but Webster keeps moving.

Moris postures up and lands a big shot to Webster's brow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Moris has gone for a leg lock! Webster slips out almost immediately though and dives into Moris's guard.

Webster must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Moris working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Webster.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Webster throws a sloppy strike and Moris has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Webster is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Moris!
