The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mccarthey gets caught flat footed, as Tonal shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Tonal stands up over Mccarthey, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Tonal won't allow Mccarthey to get back to his feet.
Tonal tries to free his leg and advance position but Mccarthey is retaining full guard.
Tonal might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Tonal is sitting in close to Mccarthey's body. Mccarthey has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tonal is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tonal is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mccarthey.
