Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Trombone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Wasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trombone's entrance music is Back in Black by AC/DC. A fine choice. Wasa is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by UK Subs - Warhead. Rusty Trombone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trombone displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Trombone throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wasa slips a jab and a cross from Trombone.
Trombone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wasa circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice body kick from Wasa.
Wasa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Trombone manages to avoid it.
Wasa scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Wasa feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Trombones jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Trombone finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Rusty Trombone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wasa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Trombone throws a big shot that misses.
Wasa looking to land some kicks to the body here.

and Wasa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Trombone won't be happy with that.

Trombone looking for a sweep but Wasa has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Trombone tries to get to full guard but Wasa has control of the leg.
Trombone is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Wasa jumps into side control!
Wasa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trombone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Trombone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wasa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wasa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trombone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wasa is one step ahead there.
Trombone manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Wasa tries to hold on but Trombone pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Trombone misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wasa moves out of range as Trombone strikes.
Good standup being displayed there by Trombone as he connects with a hook.
Wasa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Trombone manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wasa doesn't manage to clinch there - Trombone circles away.
Trombone shoots in for a takedown but Wasa shows good takedown defense.
Trombone lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Wasa takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Trombone throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Wasa is still on wobbly legs! Can Trombone finish him?
Rusty Trombone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Trombone closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Wasa! Trombone dives in looking to finish! Wasa is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Rusty Trombone opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
