Harris gets the takedown into side control.
Harris tries to advance to mount but can't.
Vernius manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vernius is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Vernius uses his free foot to push down on Harris's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Harris.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Harris can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Vernius has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Harris is in real trouble here. Vernius gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Harris is tapping out! Vernius wins by rear naked choke!
