Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edward Furlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Chaos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Furlong comes into the arena with Steppin' Stone blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Furlong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Chaos!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furlong fails with a takedown attempt.
Furlong shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chaos as he avoids it easily.
Furlong shoots in and drives through. Chaos sprawls well.

Furlong drops back looking for a leg! Chaos is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chaos manages to kick Furlong off! Furlong jumps back into Chaos's guard.

Chaos ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Furlong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Furlong fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chaos avoids it really well and circles away.

and Furlong decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Chaos's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chaos seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Furlong has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chaos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Furlong throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Chaos escapes and throws Furlong's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Chaos is looking to take a break and control but Furlong is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Chaos has momentary wrist control but Furlong slips an elbow through the middle.

Furlong closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Furlong tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Furlong wants to control but Chaos is keeping him busy.

Furlong is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Chaos looks calm but he's in trouble here. Furlong gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Chaos is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Furlong lets go of the hold and Chaos can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Edward Furlong!
In his post fight interview, Edward Furlong started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
