Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rellik X (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Bernardes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). X's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Gotta Feeling. Bernardes has chosen vermilion as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Rellik X!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josh Bernardes!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
X scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
X swinging wildly here.
Bernardes dives in and grabs X's left leg, looking for a takedown. X pushes down on Bernardes's head and hops out.
X misses with the combination.
Bernardes throws a leg kick but X sees it coming and moves out of range.
X falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bernardes counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Bernardes drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and X dives on top into guard.
Bernardes working for submissions but it's allowed X to get to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ground and pound from X.
X throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
X working Bernardes over with strikes.
X not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
X moves into full mount! Bernardes won't be happy about that!
That's one minute gone in the round.
X trying to control but he's not successful this time.
X lands a heavy elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
X cracks Bernardes with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Bernardes is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Bernardes working to try and regain half guard.
X with the ground and pound from mount.
This has been an exciting period of action!
X lands a big elbow.
Bernardes is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bernardes is in a horrible position here. X smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Bernardes is bucking up trying to escape but X cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
X working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Bernardes is rocked!
Bernardes keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bernardes is still in real trouble! Can X finish him?
Bernardes looks gassed!
X has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bernardes's face.
X will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bernardes is desperately trying to improve his position but X has a good base and remains in mount.
A big strike lands for X! That's really hurt Bernardes and he's turned his back - X keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! X jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rellik X!
Rellik X decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
