The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhialto shoots in but no luck this time.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kong is desperately trying to improve his position but Rhialto has a good base and remains in mount.

Rhialto is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kong to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kong shrugs it off.
Rhialto trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Kong wants to try and get back to his feet.
Kong wants to hold on but Rhialto pushes him away.
Kong is looking to improve his position but Rhialto isn't that keen on the idea.

Rhialto is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kong has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kong tries to hold on but Rhialto pushes him away.
Kong is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Rhialto is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kong can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Rhialto looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Kong is wriggling around trying to escape.

Rhialto is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Kong is forced to tap! Great finish!
