Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Audet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hate me now. Audet is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Black Eyed Peas - Pump it. The key to victory for Jack Daniels has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Audet!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Audet closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Daniels quickly recovers to half guard.
Daniels keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Daniels is refusing to be controlled, as Audet sits in half guard.
Audet prevents Daniels from standing back up.
Daniels on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Daniels tries to get out of the position.
Audet looks to land a strike but Daniels avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Daniels wants to stand but Audet is controlling the position.
Audet has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Daniels is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Audet just misses with a elbow thrown towards Daniels's brow.
Audet pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Daniels seems to have got his legs back now.
Audet lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Audet gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Audet throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Daniels blocks it with crossed arms.
Daniels has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Audet after a bit of a struggle.
Daniels avoiding damage as Audet throws knees to the body.
Audet tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Daniels dodges an elbow strike from Audet.

Daniels jumps guard and drags Audet to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daniels wants to stand and escape but Audet is having none of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Daniels preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Audet throwing strikes from guard but Daniels blocks nicely.
Audet is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Daniels wriggles free and stands up.
Daniels throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Audet tries to clinch there but Daniels circles away.
Jack Daniels is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Daniels throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Audet.

Audet shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Daniels is breathing heavily.
Audet thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Daniels blocking the ground and pound.

Audet jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Daniels manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Audet throws a strike aimed at the side of Daniels's head but Daniels avoids it well.
Daniels tries to escape but Audet is in control.

Audet has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Left hook, right uppercut from Daniels.
Audet closes the distance and clinches up with Daniels, looking for a takedown. Audet pushes Daniels against the cage but Daniels circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Audet slips under a jab from Daniels.
The fight stays on the outside here - Audet looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Daniels connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Audet momentarily.
Audet wants to clinch up but Daniels keeps it at a distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Audet walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Daniels moves into range and connects with a jab.
Audet closes this distance looking for a takedown but Daniels circles away.
Daniels connects with a body shot.
Daniels scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Audet fails to land the takedown.
Jack Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Audet.
Daniels listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Audet looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Daniels fails to land with a series of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Nathan Audet will probably get the nod.

Daniels throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Daniels pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jack Daniels is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Daniels is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Daniels is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Audet to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Daniels. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Audet lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Audet jerks Daniels's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Daniels drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Audet goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Audet because Daniels was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
