Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ron Burgundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baby Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baby Jay is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jay takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Burgundy throws the left hand but Jay avoids the punch easily.
Jay throws out a loose jab but Burgundy uses good head movement to avoid it.
Burgundy works the jab nicely.
Nice straight punches there by Burgundy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Burgundy.
Jay throws a lazy right hand but Burgundy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jay crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Burgundy - the referee stops the clock and Jay gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Burgundy. Jay manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Jay feints and then cracks Burgundy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Burgundy down.
Burgundy is looking to wear down Jay with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Burgundy.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jay, as that shot connected.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Burgundy throws a leg kick but Jay moved away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jay lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Burgundy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Burgundy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Jay is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Burgundy.

Ron Burgundy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Baby Jay.

Jay's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Burgundy connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jay scrambles back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Burgundy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jay circles away quickly and effectively.

Jay's jab looks to have found its range, popping Burgundy under the eye.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
