Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Unisa Kalifa!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalifa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kalifa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Windham throws a shot from downtown. Kalifa moves away and avoids it.
Kalifa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Windham misses with a wild body shot.
Kalifa fails with the takedown.
Kalifa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Windham pinned against the cage. Windham gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Aaron Windham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Unisa Kalifa.
Kalifa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Windham as he jumps to the side.

Kalifa looks to score with a jab to the body but Windham is just out of range.

Windham throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kalifa.

Windham lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Windham trying to stall but Kalifa improves his position.
Kalifa has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Windham avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Windham jumps guard and drags Kalifa to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Windham wants to get back to his feet but Kalifa is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Kalifa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Windham works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Windham holds on and takes a little breather.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Aaron Windham.
Kalifa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kalifa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Poor strikes thrown by Kalifa there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Kalifa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Windham is looking to get to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Aaron Windham will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Unisa Kalifa's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Windham keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kalifa.
Windham shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Windham is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kalifa to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kalifa shrugs it off.

Windham with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kalifa is looking to improve his position but Windham isn't that keen on the idea.

Kalifa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Aaron Windham has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Kalifa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Windham is fending him off so far but Kalifa persists. Nope, Windham circles away and we're back to standing.
Kalifa throws a big shot that misses.
Kalifa throws a hook to the side of Windham's head but Windham sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kalifa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Windham avoids it really well and circles away.

and Kalifa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Windham is on top in guard.

Windham closes the distance and clinches.
Windham has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kalifa is trying to keep an underhook but Windham manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Windham is looking for a kimura but Kalifa is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Windham to get the leverage.

Windham is desperately trying to improve his position but Kalifa has a good base and remains in mount.
Kalifa is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Windham can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Kalifa thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aaron Windham.
I think Windham has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
