Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Gibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Mamba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black Mamba has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mamba closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Gibbs is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Mamba lands a few punches from side control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Gibbs makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jackson Gibbs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Black Mamba.

Mamba fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gibbs, pushing him back against the cage.

Mamba has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gibbs clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Mamba lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

Mamba looking to break Gibbs's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Gibbs remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Mamba will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Mamba is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Mamba gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Mamba gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Mamba apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Mamba takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Mamba wants to free his trapped foot but Gibbs is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Mamba perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Mamba is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Mamba is fighting to break Gibbs's control of his arms but Gibbs is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mamba decides to stand and escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Gibbs closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Well Mamba has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
