The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fisher shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shields as he avoids it easily.

Fisher is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Shields's half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Shields is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fisher's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fisher's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shields is cranking Fisher's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Fisher! He's tightened the choke and Fisher is tapping out!

Nick Shields spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
