The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dempsey throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Morrison shoots in for a takedown but Dempsey shows good takedown defense.
Dempsey lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dempsey scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Morrison takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Rolles Morrison has been cut.
Nice straight punches there by Dempsey. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dempsey.

Dempsey looks to score with a jab to the body but Morrison is just out of range.
Jack Dempsey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Morrison shoots in looking for a takedown but Dempsey manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Morrison's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Morrison shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dempsey sprawls well. Dempsey wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Morrison gets slowly back to his feet.

Dempsey fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Morrison looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Dempsey is looking to wear down Morrison with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Dempsey throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Morrison on the side of the head.
Dempsey stuns Morrison with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dempsey, as that shot connected.
Morrison walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Morrison takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
