And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sands tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Sands is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Sands preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Mi lands a couple of digs.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mi is pushing down on Sands's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sands is fighting to maintain full guard but Mi has managed to sneak the leg through.

Mi is working for a submission of some sort.
Mi is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Mi working over Sands with some ground and pound. Sands looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Mi seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Sands trying to hold on to Mi's head to control him but Mi postures up.
Mi is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Mi is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Sands is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
