The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hakoa throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Asas's head.
Asas fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hakoa is out of range.
Asas finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Hakoa feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Asass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hakoa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Asas sprawls well. Asas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hakoa gets slowly back to his feet.

A bone on bone clash there as Hakoa blocks the leg kick.
Asas throws a solid leg kick but Hakoa takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Asas.
Hakoa looks to land a left hand but Asas moved out of range nicely.
