Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez misses with a body shot.
Rodriguez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rambo moves away.
Rodriguez fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Rambo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Rambo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rambo misses with a wild body shot.
A punch lands to the side of Rambo 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Rodriguez on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Rambo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rambo takes a swing at Rodriguez's ribcage but misses.

Rodriguez rushes Rambo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rodriguez misses with a punch to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rambo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rodriguez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rambo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Horrible takedown by Rambo or perhaps it was just good defense by Rodriguez which made him look bad.

Rodriguez lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rambo backwards.
Rodriguez pushes Rambo back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Rodriguez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rambo to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Rambo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rodriguez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rambo is looking to work some ground and pound but Rodriguez has wrist control.

Rambo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rodriguez dives on top into guard.
Rodriguez has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Rambo has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Rodriguez has passed into side control.
Rambo manages to get back to half guard.

Rambo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rodriguez is working away from the top position though.
Rodriguez wants to free his trapped foot but Rambo is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Rambo is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Rodriguez is staying active.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rodriguez cracks a nice hook into Rambo's ribs.
Rambo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rodriguez swivels and escapes.
Rambo shoots for a takedown but Rodriguez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mickey Rodriguez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Rambo.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Rodriguez tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Rodriguez pushes Rambo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Rodriguez lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rambo backwards.
