The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparman works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Sparman looks to land a combination but Avalon avoids it well.
Avalon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sparman lands with a good body shot.
Sparman cracks a nice hook into Avalon's ribs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sparman staying out of range there.
Avalon loads up on a big right hand but Sparman slips the punch.
Avalon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sparman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Avalon shoots in but no luck this time.
Sparman throws a good cross that connects.
Avalon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sparman swivels and escapes.

Sparman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Sparman lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Avalon at a distance.

Sparman feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Avalons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Avalon looks up at the clock. Bad move! Sparman lands a right hand from hell, dropping Avalon. Sparman pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
