PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cottontail Rabbit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Relva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rabbit has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Antonio Relva has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Relva lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rabbit backs up against the cage.

It looks like Cottontail Rabbit has been cut.
Rabbit is breathing heavily.
Relva lands with a kick to the temple. Rabbit shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Relva closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Relva lands in his opponent's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Relva stands up from Rabbit's guard - Relva perhaps looking for a knockout.

Relva shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rabbit manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Rabbit is rocked!
Rabbit really is a fat lump.
Relva controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Oh Rabbit is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Relva stands up over Rabbit, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Relva is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Antonio Relva has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Relva lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Rabbit falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
