And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams throws a lazy right hand but Nascimento sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Williams connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nascimento momentarily.
Williams throws a lazy uppercut
and Nascimento counters with a one-two to the body.
Nascimento tries for a takedown but Williams circles away easily
and Williams counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Nascimento thinking.
Nascimento fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nascimento tries to score a power double leg takedown but Williams sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nascimento somewhat.
Cameron Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Capitao Nascimento.
Williams connects with a right hand. Nascimento shakes it off.

Williams misses the body punch
enabling Nascimento to counter with a crisp jab.
Williams scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nascimento throws a left and a right that both miss
and Williams counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Nice straight punches there by Williams. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Williams.
It looks like Capitao Nascimento has been cut.
Williams connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Williams clobbers Nascimento with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A jab lands there for Williams.
Nascimento throws out a loose jab but Williams uses good head movement to avoid it.

A slow jab from Williams misses its intended target.
Nascimento falls off balance throwing a combination
and Williams counters with a nice uppercut.
Williams connects with a single shot there.
A shot to the liver by Williams. Beautiful body shot.
Williams scores with a jab. Nascimento acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Nascimento takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nascimento looks gassed!
Williams connects with a looping right hand.
Williams takes a swing at Nascimento's ribcage but misses.

Nascimento tries for a takedown but Williams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Williams looks to score with a jab to the body but Nascimento is just out of range.

Cameron Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nascimento with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Williams to score with a decent uppercut.
Nascimento is rocked!
Nascimento is trying desperately to land a takedown but Williams is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Nascimento.

Nascimento is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams finish him?
Williams lands a nice looking body shot.
Nascimento seems to have recovered his senses.

That has opened up Capitao Nascimento's cut even more.

Williams lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Williams misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nascimento.
Williams fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Williams goes for a small jab and connects. Now Williams goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Nascimento stumbles back but Williams runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Nascimento to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Nascimento will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Cameron Williams!
