The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rugowski rushes Hall and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Rugowski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hall's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rugowski connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hall scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Martin Norris Hall has been cut.
Rugowski tries to clinch up

so Hall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rugowski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hall manages to get himself to full guard.
Rugowski is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Rugowski gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Rugowski tries to clinch up but Hall circles away and keeps his distance.
Hall throws a head kick that misses

and Rugowski counters with a head kick that drops Hall to the mat! Hall scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Hall is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rugowski fakes the body blow, causing Hall to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Hall goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
