Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giant Bubu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matteo Minonzio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minonzio has chosen AC/DC - Highway To Hell as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Matteo Minonzio has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bubu tries to grapple but his opponent circles

so Minonzio counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bubu wants to get back to his feet but Minonzio is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Minonzio is standing up over Bubu. Bubu looks to escape but Minonzio dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Minonzio wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bubu, who protects the arm well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Minonzio lands a decent elbow from side control.

Bubu scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Minonzio manages to mount him!

Minonzio is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bubu to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bubu shrugs it off.

Bubu is trying to stand up here but Minonzio is controlling him well.

Minonzio drops back looking for a leg! Bubu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bubu manages to kick Minonzio off! Minonzio jumps back into Bubu's guard.
Minonzio is standing up over Bubu. Bubu looks to escape but Minonzio dives into side control.

Minonzio has hold of Bubu's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bubu tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Minonzio cranks the arm and Bubu screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bubu, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
