Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iglig Bloodrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brian Sonnen has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Iglig Bloodrock's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Iglig Bloodrock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloodrock keeps the fight on the outside.
Bloodrock misses with a looping left.

Sonnen tries to close the distance and clinch but Bloodrock swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bloodrock enables Sonnen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bloodrock manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Bloodrock isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sonnen stacks Bloodrock on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sonnen!

Bloodrock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sonnen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sonnen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Iglig Bloodrock will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Iglig Bloodrock.
